Technical problems

We've been experiencing some technical problems today with our website resulting in false 'new release notifications' as well as broken download links on the website. We are currently working to resolve these issues and will update this blog once we are back to normal.

To be clear, there was not a Firestorm or Phoenix viewer Release today, the latest firestorm version is 4.1.1.28744 and the latest Phoenix version is 1.6.1.1691. The login screen notifications were in error.

You can still find download links on our wiki page in the meantime.

We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience.

  4. Yea I can't open firestorm either. It crashes before the log in page even finishes loading. Apparently it's ok inside though. I have a friend who's been logged in for awhile and she's doing fine. Strange.

  5. Can log in with FS but Phoenix won't clear the loading screen, the bar hangs at about 90%. I am logged in as I can hear ambient sounds and others can see me but the world won't appear.

  8. Got to love it when LL does upgrades? that only work with their browser which is about as good as bad gets, in my personal opinion. Since they let loose the dogs of war called pathfinder I have become a female, a red cloud, naked and not certain what else. I am hopeful that the great team at Phoenix will be able to help all of us in our quest to have a really good browser ie. Firestorm. Thank you for letting me vent

  9. Supporting Viewer 1.2.3 functionality isn’t Linden Lab’s goal. They concentrate on their current platform. As far as that goes...

  12. I have been using Phoenix viewer since 7/19/2012 and I have not had any problems with it until recently. I can log into to game, but once I am logged in I get a message that my clothes won't load but others can see me normally. All I see is a cloud of smoke. I have tried uninstalling the viewer and reinstalling hoping this would correct the issue but it did not. I have been having this issue for 3 days now. I am unable to enjoy the game like this and someone please help me out with this issue. Thank you

  13. Hello, I know that Frank's Place has quite a bit of lag. I am crashing more than 20 times today. I am a hostess there. Are there any settings I can use to help against crashing? I turn off particles and have my draw distance at 60. Please help. Also i have to click 3-5 times to log in... it is frustrating. I know you guys are doing your best. and thanks for the support.

    1. I turns out the "window size" setting is being changed to a huge size every time I try to log in. So I go to "debug"/"set window size" every time but there still isn't a size that fits a standard lcd monitor.- Cougo5
